Shark Conservationist , Presenter, Ocean Advocate,
Brendal's Bio
Brendal has been an inspiration for all of those who care about the ocean. Her relentless dedication to shark conservation is rooted in her appreciation of the fragile marine ecosystems, developed over the years as an active dive instructor. She is a sought-after presenter and a frequent contributor to a number of local, regional and national initiatives ranging from "100% Catch and Release" to "Prohibited Species" campaigns. Brendal is finalizing her Fishery Management Graduate Certificate work with the acclaimed program at the Oregon State University and plans on finishing her Master’s degree in Marine Affairs and Policy. Brendal continues her invaluable efforts to protect sharks through public outreach and policy improvements.
